Recommendations
CBFS work closely with a number of high quality suppliers within the F&B industry and can recommend the providers below.
Run by Mike and Imogen North, this is one of our favourite pub restaurants. We have known and been friends with Mike and Immy for years, both having been with us in the days of The Goose. This is their own thing, yet there are are still respectful nods to the days of us working together in rural Oxfordshire. Mike elevated the cuisine beyond my own capability, but stayed true to the basic ethos of The Goose, and rightfully gained a Michelin star which he continues to hold at The Nut Tree.
Mike and Immy do it the right way; respecting produce, animals and people on their continuing pursuit of excellence.

It is one thing having research and insight to help shape your business, another thing is knowing how to use the information.
George Davidson and Lantern Insights can help you cut through the jargon and make use of the key information to benefit your business.
We met George when both working on IHG projects, realised that we were both speaking the same language and have collaborated since.
George is a great market researcher who is passionate about food, drink and the hospitality industry. He brings a commercial perspective to his recommendations based on his great experience at McDonald’s, Costa, Greene King and IHG. He’s equally at home in luxury and mainstream.
We recommend George highly, his knowledge of F&B means that he can help you on many levels, not just on the insights side of things.

Run by our friends at Absolute Taste and Legends, this is a phenomenal experience. The Tunnel Club gives ultimate hospitality experience, great food, drink and service, along with a sporting experience which is second to none. This is a lifetime experience that should on the ‘bucket list’ and I feel very lucky and honoured to have seen it on several occasions. World Class.
The Tunnel Club

It is essential to get the right advice on all legal matters, especially with regards to licensing. CBFS can give general advice, but when it cones down to the detail, you need a real expert.
We recommend Niall McCann at Keystone Law, he has been in the business many years and can advise on many levels and important, can demystify a very complex and often baffling subject, speaking in plain language that a mere restaurateur can understand.

The Mill at Sonning is a unique theatrical and dining experience which has involved many of the CBFS family.
Interiors by Meraki, branding by Oink and strategy by Chris Barber.
We love The Mill; the owner, Sally Hughes has with our help reawakened a sleeping giant, and The Mill is now a vibrant hub of creativity and hospitality.

We have worked on many projects over several years with Kate Cook, The Nutrition Coach, and her team.
Rather than blinding us with science, Kate guides, advises and brings practical solutions to our clients.
As diet becomes ever more at the forefront of developments and projects, Kate is the perfect person to support us.
